The staff is friendly and ready to start cleaning your teeth and/or getting you ready to see the doctor.

Had a great first experience at FDH Five Forks! Nikayla was clearly very good at her job, and my good friend Keith was very clear and honest about the state of my teeth. It was a refreshing dental experience as I’ve had some pretty bad ones over the years. I had a full cleaning done, x-rays, etc. Also, the front desk folks were very nice and easy to work with! This is a bit difficult for me to write. As many of you know, Dr. Nathen Head was killed tragically in an automobile accident in November of 2023.  I am his mother.  The practice was managed on a temporary basis by Dr Julie Driscoll, who did an excellent job, and now there is a permanent replacement, Dr. Peter Heitman. I had my first visit with him yesterday and I have to say, I believe he is an excellent choice to carry on the legacy of quality and genuine concern for people that my son built with Atlantic Dental Associates.  I was later taken aback when I recognized a thread of familiarity between him and my son.  I had the sense that Dr Head had a hand in his selection to continue the work he put into building a strong practice with such loyal patients. I hope Dr Heitman receives the same from the patients and I look forward to a continued relationship as a patient with the practice, Family Dental Health of West Ashley.
