Q: If you weren’t a dentist, what other career could you see yourself in? I wanted to be an Architect or an importer/exporter!

Q: What’s your favorite season, and why? Fall for sure! I love the cool weather, minimal allergies, and the colors of the trees, although I do not care for all the “pumpkin spice” stuff too much! 

Q: Do you have any hidden talents or skills outside of dentistry? I’m quite the bread baker and I make a mean focaccia!

Dr. Ahmed and his parents relocated to Greenville, South Carolina in 2008, and have proudly called it home ever since.

His passion for dentistry began early and grew stronger after moving to Greenville, where his journey started at FDH Brushy Creek—back when the office was a small yellow building—shadowing Doctors Tolbert, Twitchill, Sonia, and Safrit.

Dr. Ahmed went on to earn his degree in Biological Sciences from Clemson University. In 2014, he entered the Medical University of South Carolina’s College of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). After graduating, he practiced dentistry for six years in Boiling Springs, South Carolina before returning full circle to Brushy Creek, where his journey first began.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ahmed’s story is just as meaningful. He met his wife, Abbey, in 2019 after she relocated to Greenville from Illinois to work as a nurse. The couple married in Puerto Rico in 2022, and in 2023, they welcomed their first child, Cooper. Their family also includes Bear, a chocolate merle Pomeranian who keeps them on their toes.

In his free time, Dr. Ahmed enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and exploring new cuisines.
