Fun Facts with Dr. Koo
Q: Are you more of a morning person or a night owl? I am both, only because I don’t sleep nearly as much as I’d like!
Q: What’s your favorite season, and why? Definitely fall; summer can be too hot, winter can be too cold, and spring pollen can change my whole day.
Q: What’s your favorite book or author? “When Breath Becomes Air” – Paul Kalanithi; I think everyone should read it at least once.
Q: What’s one item you can’t live without? My phone; keeping in touch with friends and family is the most important thing to me!

Dr. Koo's Story
Dr. Alexander Koo was born in Louisville, Kentucky; after several moves, Greenville became home.
Dr. Koo attended The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Public Health. He spent the second half of his undergraduate career working in research labs at the Hopkins Hospital. Afterwards, Dr. Koo attended the Medical University of South Carolina, and earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine.
When not practicing dentistry, Alex enjoys going to the gym, practicing golf, and playing video games. He also enjoys supporting the many sports clubs of Charlotte, but especially the Charlotte Hornets. Dr. Alex Koo is excited to express his passion for service and build a community here at Family Dental Health of Uptown Charlotte.
