Q: Do you have a favorite movie or TV show that you recommend to everyone? My fav shows that I would like to  recommend are Jack Ryan and Reacher on Amazon Prime. 

Q: If you weren’t a dentist, what other career could you see yourself in? I think I would definitely be an engineer of some kind. I have a ton of engineers in my family. 

Q: Where’s your favorite place to travel, or a dream destination you’d love to visit? My dream destinations are France and Australia.

Q: When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? Since childhood I have loved cars and thus when I was young I always dreamed about growing up and designing cars for a living, haha.

Q: Are you more of a morning person or a night owl? I am a night owl for sure.

Dr. Ashutosh Patel was born and raised in India and moved to the United States in 2010 to pursue his American dream. He attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte for his undergrad, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Patel then attended the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine for his dental education, where he graduated at the top of his class with Omicron Kappa Upsilon honors.

Dr. Patel’s professional philosophy is rooted in providing his patients with comprehensive dental care, with a focus on restoring both esthetics and function. He values the time spent with his patients during their visits, using these moments to connect with them on a personal level and help them achieve their dream smiles.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Patel loves spending time with his family and friends. In his free time, he loves cycling, gardening, and hiking. He also enjoys playing tennis with his wife on the weekends. Dr. Patel is a firm believer in giving back to the community. Thus, he has actively volunteered for the Mission of Mercy outreach program in the past and is planning to continue to do so to help the underserved population who cannot even afford primary dental care.
