Q: What’s the first concert you ever attended?

My first concert was Rush in 2005. From an early age, I was exposed to classic rock by my dad and never looked back. I particularly enjoy music from the 1960s and 1970s. If a band from that era is still touring, I try my best to see them when they come to Charlotte. Currently, my favorite band is Goose, which draws a lot of inspiration from that period.

Q: Do you have a favorite hobby or activity you enjoy on weekends?

My favorite hobby is golf. It’s a great game because it gets you outside in nature, and you can continue playing it well into old age. It also has many parallels to life. In golf, you have to stay present and deal with adversity on every shot. You can strive for perfection, but you can never fully achieve it.

Q: Where’s your favorite place to travel?

My favorite place to travel is Lake Tahoe. It is one of the most picturesque places in the United States and is a great destination during every season. During the summer and fall, it hardly ever rains, and there are many outdoor activities to enjoy. During the winter and spring, it offers some of the best skiing around.

Dr. Loren is originally from Waxhaw, North Carolina, and earned a degree in chemistry from Clemson University before completing dental school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After receiving further training in clear aligner therapy, digital dentistry, and oral surgery, he strives to provide the best possible care to his patients.

Dr. Loren’s favorite thing in the world is making people smile, and he loves being able to provide patients with a pathway to achieving their dream smiles. Dentistry is inherently invasive, so Dr. Loren is always looking for new ways to build long-lasting relationships and is committed to making patients feel as comfortable as possible in the office.

Outside the office, he enjoys playing golf and listening to live music whenever he can. He loves spending time as a “girl dad” with his two daughters, Adeline and Elliette, and his wife, Emily.
