Q: What is your favorite season, and why? I love fall! I think it’s so special to watch nature change colors as the temperature becomes cooler.

Q: Do you have a favorite movie or TV show that you recommend to everyone? Grown Ups is my all-time favorite movie!

Q: Where’s your favorite place to travel, or a dream destination you’d love to visit? Earlier this year I went to Seward, Alaska and I am already planning my next visit there!

Q: Who is a family member or person you know who inspires you the most, and why? My mom! She is just the best!

Dr. Grace Berrigan grew up in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Living in the Lowcountry played a huge part in Dr. Berrigan’s love for the outdoors. She spent most of her time playing sports or spending too many hours at the beach! For her last two years of high school, she attended boarding school at the Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics. She went on to attend Wofford College in Spartanburg and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry.She discovered her passion for dentistry during the predental interim at Wofford where she shadowed many local dentists in the Upstate!

After graduating from college, Dr. Berrigan found herself back in the low country to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the Medical University of South Carolina. During her time at MUSC, she was very involved in the dental fraternity Delta Sigma Delta. She served as a social chair for the fraternity where she planned several social gatherings with dental students, and faculty of the college. Dr. Berrigan had the opportunity to travel to Honduras and Ecuador, where she provided comprehensive dental care to local patients. Outside of dental school, Dr. Berrigan worked at the MUSC Wellness Center promoting overall health and wellness to local members of the community. Before graduation, Dr. Berrigan received the Piedmont District Dental Scholarship for her continued dedication to providing compassionate care for patients. When it came to deciding where to practice after school, Dr. Berrigan felt drawn to the Upstate, a place she once called home.

In her free time, she loves to ride her bike, play pickleball with friends, or go on walks with her boyfriend Andrew and two dogs Lionel and Herbie. Dr. Berrigan is enthusiastic to call Spartanburg her home and looks forward to getting to know every patient that walks through the doors.
