Dr. Robinson is originally from Columbia, SC. He earned a degree in biology from the University of South Carolina before graduating from the MUSC College of Dental Medicine in Charleston in 1999. He joined Dr. Phil Smith’s family practice in Lexington, SC, and soon thereafter founded Drs Smith and Robinson, where he has practiced for 25 years.

He is passionate about comprehensive restorative dentistry, esthetic dentistry, and surgical procedures. He is a certified Invisalign provider and enjoys implant dentistry. He believes that all dentistry, even the simplest treatment, should be both beautiful and clinically sound. His philosophy of dental care emphasizes enhancing natural beauty and achieving the greatest possible results with the least amount of intervention.

His professional associations include the South Carolina Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He has been honored as a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and in 2019, he was inducted as a Fellow of both the American College of Dentists and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Robinson is committed to continuing education. His postgraduate studies have included advanced training through the L.D. Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida, and the Spear Institute. He welcomes challenging cases and is known by his patients in Lexington for his meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence.

Dr. Robinson spends most of his free time with his family. He and his wife, Lee, have three sons and two golden retrievers. When he is not with his family, he enjoys exercising, studying dentistry, listening to dental podcasts, skiing, hunting, and fishing. He also practiced jiu-jitsu for many years.
