Dr. Jason Prescott is originally from Sumter, South Carolina. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina in 2001, graduating cum laude. After working as an engineer for two years, he chose to pursue dentistry and enrolled at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), where he completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in May 2007.

Following dental school, Dr. Prescott completed an elective one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center. During that time, he gained extensive experience in general dentistry, including implant dentistry, fixed and removable prosthetics, full mouth reconstruction, and cosmetic procedures.

At the time of his graduation from MUSC, he received the American Academy of Implant Dentistry’s award for excellence in implant dentistry. Dr. Prescott has also been involved in volunteer efforts, offering dental services at free clinics in North Charleston, SC, through Volunteers in Medicine in Hilton Head, SC, and on a mission trip to Haiti. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
