Q: If you weren’t a dentist, what other career could you see yourself in? Home organizer—I live for matching bins and sorting junk drawers!

Dr. Lindsay Richardson was born and raised in Greenville, SC, and attended high school just down the street from the original Family Dental Health office—often running past it during cross country practice. She went on to attend Clemson University, where she majored in Bioengineering.

After graduating in 2021, Dr. Richardson moved to Charleston to attend the Medical University of South Carolina for dental school. During this time, she enjoyed expanding her dental knowledge while applying her engineering background to deliver thoughtful, well-rounded care. In her second year, she married her high school sweetheart, and they enjoyed living on the coast while she completed her education. However, after spending many weekends driving to the NC mountains to hike and explore, they felt drawn to settle in the greater Asheville area.

After graduating in 2025, Dr. Richardson, her husband, their dog, and two cats moved to WNC. They love living closer to the mountains they’ve always visited. They enjoy running in Pisgah National Forest, hiking along the Blue Ridge Parkway, and tackling DIY home projects. Dr. Richardson is grateful for the opportunity to serve the WNC community and looks forward to helping her patients protect, enjoy, and improve their smiles.
