Dr. Shauna Gerstner is a South Carolina board-certified dentist with a focus on restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She was born and raised in Cincinnati as the fifth of six children.

For her undergraduate education, she attended the University of South Carolina, where she graduated early in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a directed study in pre-dental coursework. She then returned to Ohio to attend dental school at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry.

Less than a month after graduating in 2024, she and her husband moved to James Island, where they still live today. They have two Labrador retrievers, one chocolate and one yellow, and are expecting their first baby.

Her family frequently visits Folly Beach and enjoys exploring new restaurants and events in Charleston. She practiced in Summerville for the past two years but was looking for an opportunity closer to home as they begin their family.

Dr. Gerstner is known for her compassionate, patient-first approach, with a strong emphasis on patient education. She is excited to become part of the community and looks forward to meeting you and your entire family.
