Q: If you weren’t a dentist, what other career could you see yourself in? Either interior design or city planning 

Q: Are you more of a morning person or a night owl? I have always been a morning person!

Q: What’s your favorite season, and why? Summertime. I love warm weather and going to the beach!

Dr. Farooq is originally from New York and earned a degree in Health Sciences before completing dental school at New York University College of Dentistry. After further training in all aspects of general dentistry, Dr Farooq developed a strong interest in providing a comprehensive dental care facility that can address all needs for the patients.  Committed to continued learning and patient focused care, Dr. Farooq enjoys building lasting relationships and helping patients feel confident in their smiles. Outside the office, Dr Farooq enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her husband and kids.

Dr. Farooq is a native New Yorker who knew from an early age that she wanted to be in the healthcare field. She took her very first paying job at a dental office. She immediately fell in love and was encouraged to be a dentist by those around her. She went on to complete her Bachelor’s Degree at SUNY Stony Brook in Long Island, NY. She earned her degree in Health Sciences and spent two years of this degree learning patient care and triage. During her time at NYUCD, she explored her dental interests of esthetics, Invisalign and preventative care; she earned her degree with ease graduating with honors. She continues to be committed to continuing education and strives to be a top dental provider.

Dr. Farooq finds it important to not only provide clinical excellence but also form long-lasting relationships and trust with all of her patients. She prioritizes individual care and treatment planning as dental health is not “one size fits all. Dr. Farooq is also an advocate for preventative dental care.
