Q: What volunteering or passion projects do you do outside of work? I enjoy volunteering with Project Hope via the Appletree Foundation to help desensitize children with autism to the dental experience.

Q: What do you like most about being a dentist? The best part about dentistry is seeing your patient giddy and cheesing ear to ear after you transform their smile. I also really love when I get to help a patient overcome dental anxiety.

Dr. Burr received her B.S. in Biology from College of Charleston and graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors. She then attended the Medical University of South Carolina where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2007, receiving the Eleanor J. Bushee Senior Student Award for Academic Excellence and Outstanding Leadership. She was also the President of the MUSC chapter of the American Association of Women Dentists from 2006-2007.

Dr. Burr has been in private practice from 2007 to the present. She loves restorative dentistry and prosthodontics. She also enjoys working with special needs patients! Dr. Burr is married and has four children. Her favorite pastime is interior design.
