Q: What’s your favorite season, and why? Spring.  I love the temperature and all the new leaves and flowers blooming.

Q: What’s your favorite way to unwind after a long day? Exercise, then watching a movie.

Q: If you weren’t a dentist, what other career could you see yourself in? A lawyer.

Q: Are you more of a morning person or a night owl? I can be a morning person if I get to bed early, but I am naturally more of a night owl.

Dr. Daniel Horn grew up in Taylors, SC, near Lake Robinson where he could often be found fishing on the lake with his Dad. He has always enjoyed spending time outdoors, which led him to Boy Scouts where he eventually achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.

After high school, Dr. Horn attended North Greenville University, where he graduated in 2017 with a degree in Health Science.  While in college, he was very active and involved in the campus community and was awarded Freshman of the Year.

Upon Graduation from North Greenville University, Dr. Horn attended the Medical University of South Carolina.  While in dental school, he took part in a dental mission trip to Honduras, where he served the community of San Marcos De Colon.  He graduated from MUSC in 2021 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Horn applied and was accepted into a General Practice Residency in Asheville, NC immediately following dental school.  This residency was a yearlong program that provided more advanced dental training. Included in this residency were operating room cases, taking call for the hospital, as well as serving the local Asheville community through educational programs.

After practicing for several years in Anderson, Dr. Horn is very excited to be able to call Spartanburg home. He is active in his church and enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, exercising, and reading.  He is a member of the American Dental Association and South Carolina Dental Association.  Dr. Horn looks forward to providing quality care to and serving the patients of his community.
