Dr. Michael “Mickey” Brown was born in Atlanta, GA, but grew up in the Greenville area after his family relocated when he was young. He attended Brook Glenn Elementary School, Northwood Middle School, and graduated from Eastside High School in 2004.

Dr. Brown attended Clemson University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2008. Upon graduating from Clemson, Dr. Brown worked as a design engineer for Lockheed Martin in Philadelphia, PA and Caterpillar, Inc. in Fountain Inn, SC. After some soul-searching, Dr. Brown decided to leave engineering and pursue a career in dentistry. He attended the Medical University of South Carolina where he served as Class President, and earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2018. Prior to graduation, he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society.

Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Brown opted to continue his training with a general practice residency at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, SC. There he was trained in sedation dentistry, implant dentistry, oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry, and general restorative dentistry. Dr. Brown is always excited to seek out ways to further his dental training and is currently pursuing fellowship status with the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Brown is a member of the American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Brown is excited to return to the upstate with his wife, Amanda, whom he married in 2016. Amanda is also a Greenville native, attending Bob Jones for elementary and middle school, and graduating from Eastside High School in 2005. Dr. Brown and Amanda have a beautiful young daughter, Ruby, and two dogs, Bella and Jolene.

As a member of the Family Dental Health team, Dr. Brown provides services such as IV sedation, surgical implant dentistry, wisdom teeth extractions, cosmetic dental treatment, and other comprehensive dental care.

During his free time, Dr. Brown enjoys wood working, following Clemson sports, and exploring the greater Greenville area with friends and family.
