Michael Caldwell, DMD
Dr. Michael Caldwell grew up in Lexington, SC where he excelled in academics, tennis and cross country as a youth. In high school, he helped lead his tennis team to its first ever state championship! Michael attended Clemson University where he graduated from the Calhoun Honors College in 2006 with a B.S. in biochemistry.
He was very active in a Christian ministry called Reformed University Fellowship (RUF). Through RUF, Michael met Elizabeth Adams, of Florence, SC, and upon their graduation from Clemson in 2006 they married. After leaving Clemson, they moved to Kentucky to work for RUF on the University of Kentucky (UK) campus.
After two years, Michael felt called to pursue dentistry. After earning an Air Force scholarship, he started dental school at UK in 2008. He finished dental school in 2012, and Michael and Elizabeth moved to Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi for a residency in general dentistry to further his education.
Afterwards, they moved to Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia. Michael spent the next four years as one of the leaders in the dental clinic on base while continuing to improve his skills. He was selected for the rank of Major but felt called to pursue private practice. He returned to SC, joining Family Dental Health in 2017.
Michael and Elizabeth have three girls, Zula (born 2013), Lily Ann (born 2016) and Eloise (born 2018). They attend Grace and Peace Presbyterian Church and enjoy everything Greenville has to offer. Some of Michael's interests include riding his motorcycle, watching Clemson football, playing any sport (tennis, table tennis, basketball, etc.), running and spending time with his girls
