Dr. Peyton Herndon was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. Growing up, she loved to spend time visiting her extended family in the Lowcountry, and still loves to visit whenever she can. She went to high school at Hammond, where she enjoyed cheerleading and tennis. Dr. Herndon then went to Clemson University, where she majored in Biological Sciences and minored in Business Administration. She was an avid member in her sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma. Dr. Herndon enjoyed her time spent at Clemson University, and even met her husband, Wes Herndon during her time there. Wes is a Greenville, SC native and is currently finishing up dental school in Charleston, SC.

Upon graduating from Clemson, Dr. Herndon went to The Medical University of South Carolina where she served as class president for all four years. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2021. During dental school, Peyton and Wes were married in Beaufort, SC. They are much looking forward to life together in the Upstate with their black lab mix, Scout. Dr. Herndon is excited to spend more time at the mountains and the lake, and looks forward to going back to Clemson for more football games in the fall. She can’t wait to serve her new patients in the Upstate!
