Q: If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Shrimp alfredo with Red Velvet Cake for dessert!

Q: If you couldn’t be a dentist, what would your second career be? A photographer! I love capturing beautiful places and moments I don’t want to forget!

Q: What do you enjoy the most about being a dentist? Improving patient’s health and making them smile!

Q: When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? An author! I’d still love to write a book one day.

Dr. Allison Jenkins joined Family Dental Health in 2023 and is currently accepting new patients! She was born and raised in Rock Hill, South Carolina. After high school, Dr. Jenkins went to Presbyterian College where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. While at PC she found her love of traveling after getting to study Biology abroad in Australia. After college, she moved to Charleston for dental school, where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at The Medical University of South Carolina. In dental school, she was a part of the American Association of Women Dentists, Delta Sigma Delta International Dental Fraternity, American Student Dental Association, and Dental Community Fellowship. While in Charleston, she found plenty of delicious food, enjoyed running around the beautiful city, and met her husband, William. After graduation, they got married and moved to the Charlotte area.

Dr. Jenkins is a member of both the North and South Carolina Dental Associations, The American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. When she is not in the office, she enjoys running, finding new restaurants with her husband, playing with her dog, and spending quality time with family and friends.

She is devoted to providing high quality care to patients of all ages and dental needs. Working with patients to improve their dental health is her greatest passion and making patients smile is the highlight of her day!
