Dr. Molly Pincelli is originally from Long Beach, CA. She attended the University of South Carolina where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with honors in 2014. During her time at USC, she developed an interest in dentistry by volunteering at WellPartners Adult Dental Clinic in Lexington, SC and traveling to Panama with a dental mission team. She met her husband, Luke Pincelli, when they were freshmen in college. Luke remained in Columbia to attend law school at USC, while Dr. Pincelli moved to Charleston to attend dental school.

Dr. Pincelli earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine in 2018. She is an avid supporter of organized dentistry and served as VP of the MUSC chapter of the American Student Dental Association. She volunteered at Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach Dental Clinic and served on dental mission trips to Peru and Ecuador with Dental Community Fellowship.

Staying current on dental trends and techniques is very important to Dr. Pincelli. She completed a one year general practice residency at Palmetto Health Richland where she gained advanced training in treatment planning, IV sedation, dental trauma, surgical extractions, implant placement, and treating medically complex and special needs patients. She has recently attended continuing education courses in several states and throughout South Carolina and is currently a member of the American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, and Greater Columbia Dental Association.

In her free time, Dr. Pincelli enjoys participating in group exercise classes, backpacking the Appalachian Trail, attending church at Midtown Downtown, serving as an active member of the Junior League of Columbia and spending time with her family. Dr. Pincelli’s husband is currently an Assistant Solicitor in Lexington County. They have a young son (Otis) and daughter (Marlo) and another son due in Spring 2024!

Dr. Pincelli has thoroughly enjoyed practicing dentistry at Berger Dental Group in the years following her residency. She is extremely excited to join Family Dental Health of Forest Acres and looks forward to making lasting relationships with her patients. She brings a youthful energy to the office and is dedicated to providing high level dental care with kindness and sincerity.
