Q: If you weren’t a dentist, what would you be? If I weren’t a dentist, I would love to be a yoga teacher. I am drawn to yoga because, like dentistry, it is a continually evolving practice with endless opportunities for growth and improvement. I love the way yoga combines physical exercise, mental strength, and meditation. I am passionate about its benefits and believe that everyone should incorporate yoga into their lives.

Q: When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I’ve known I wanted to be a dentist since middle school. When observing my orthodontist during my appointments, I always thought it was so cool how dentistry combines hand skills, creativity, and the lifelong relationships that dentists build with their patients. It was the perfect mix of fun and meaningful work that inspired me from a young age. 

Q: If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Peanut butter. I have a wild addiction to peanut butter and love it in all its forms—smooth or crunchy, from any brand, and on anything.

Q: What do you enjoy the most about being a dentist? Asking people questions with my hands in their mouth….. just kidding. I love to educate patients with the knowledge I’ve gained from continuous education so that they can make good decisions for their dental health.
