This is a bit difficult for me to write. As many of you know, Dr. Nathen Head was killed tragically in an automobile accident in November of 2023.  I am his mother.  The practice was managed on a temporary basis by Dr Julie Driscoll, who did an excellent job, and now there is a permanent replacement, Dr. Peter Heitman. I had my first visit with him yesterday and I have to say, I believe he is an excellent choice to carry on the legacy of quality and genuine concern for people that my son built with Atlantic Dental Associates.  I was later taken aback when I recognized a thread of familiarity between him and my son.  I had the sense that Dr Head had a hand in his selection to continue the work he put into building a strong practice with such loyal patients. I hope Dr Heitman receives the same from the patients and I look forward to a continued relationship as a patient with the practice, Family Dental Health of West Ashley.

Each member of the staff from Shelby in reception to Dr. Heitman is dedicated to providing top notch and affordable service. Recently had a chip in my front tooth. Since the front teeth are so readily visible, I was very concerned about treatment. Doctor Henry was so accommodating and reassured me that he would do all he could to address my concerns. He is a brilliant dentist and I highly recommend him and his practice. They have  had to make two replacements and both have been excellent choices.  Very pleased with my results!!!!!
